Where and when will Lowlands 2011 instead?
Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday, August 21 2011 at the evenemententerrein from Walibi World in Biddinghuizen.

How old do you have to Lowlands to enter? How old do you have to Lowlands to enter?
You have to be 16 to attend Lowlands Festival, if you are younger you need to be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.   Alcohol will not be given to persons under the age of 16.

 Should I take Proof of Age.

Yes as  people under the age of 16 will have a different wrist band which will mean you can not buy alcohol.

When will open the festival and what time begins the program?

When can you come?

On Thursday, a limited opening hours from 18:00, with minimal facilities.

I can only arrive on Friday night / Saturday / Sunday; can I  still Camp

Yes you can as long as u keep the wrist band on. 

Can I safely store my stuff?

Yes, the festival of Lockerbox lockers are available.

Can i bring a camera?

 Yes but professional camera equipment with removable lenses is not allowed on site.

 HOW MUCH CAN YOU DRINK BRING?

You may 12 cans per person (fresh) and 1 plastic drink literfles (fresh) drink transferable to the camping site, but not on the festival arena itself.

 CAN I BRING MY SOUND SYSTEM

No Power Generatos and Music are not allowed on the camp site.

Lowlands organisers have today announced the first few acts for Lowlands 2010 which takes place over the weekend of August 20th 21st 22nd 2010. The first band to confirmed are Blink 182, who will bring their US Punk tunes to the fields of Holland.
Electronics-king Richie Hawtin is back back in business with his new project presents Richie Hawtin Plastikman LIVE. He does this not only with the visual artists of Derivative. This legendary act in advance you will not miss, especially since Lowlands is the only place where you show this summer in the Netherlands you see Finally Admiral Freebee: the man of the classic and timeless American rock singer / songwriter-romance. Just from Belgium, or that again.

More acts to come in the next few weeks, and tickets go on sale tommorow ( 21st February 2010)

The Lowlands Festival 2009 returns to  Evenemententerrein Walibi World, Biddinghuizen, The Netherlands ( Holland).  It is known as  A Campingflight To Lowlands Paradise 2009,  Lowlands takes between 21 22 and 23 August 2009.  Lowland Tickets

The Lowlands Festival 2008 takes place in Holland on the 15th, 16th and 17th of August.

Why Lowlands Festival 2008?

Lowlands Festival has been described as Glastonbury meets Goa. Intrigued?

Alongside Pinkpop, Lowlands is one of Holland’s biggest music festivals. It has something for everyone and is guaranteed to be a weekend stuffed full of diverse entertainment.

The three days of festival madness includes performances from some of the finest acts around, plus non-stop entertainment from stand-up comedians, literature, film and theatre.

It is a festival with a twist. You can spend your time in a messy scrum by the stage watching bands and sliding about in the mud, or you can take the slightly more refined approach and check out the variety of cutting edge arts entertainment. You could even do both.

This years Lowlands Festival will see the likes of:

Foals, Kate Nash, Sigur Ros, Sex Pistols, The Flaming Lips, The Ting Tings, Los Campesinos and We Are Scientists.

Past performances have seen the likes of Blink 182, Def Tones, Muse, Placebo, The Prodigy, Foo Fighters, Faithless, The Offspring and many more. If this isn’t an indication of what to expect in 2008, then we don’t what is.

1. Sigur Ros
An absolute must see. A band who – even if you don’t know much about – will blow you away with their willowing but striking vocals.

2. Foals
The next big thing on the Indie scene. It is a great time to catch them while they are trembling on the edge of a major break through. They will be the band in 2009 that everyone will be going to see.

3. Sex Pistols
Even if you weren’t around at the time of the hype of Sex Pistols, they are still a band that everyone needs to see. Catching a live Sex Pistols show allows you to glimpse into what once was – and still is –a genre that stormed boundaries.

4. The Ting Tings
A funky girl/boy Pop/Electro duo that will have the crowds stamping and dancing in a freeing and frivolous manner.

5. Pendulum
The perfect way to end your time at Lowlands Festival. Pendulum are an Australian Drum and Bass band who always put on splintering sets and will set the crowd on fire.
